Although Spring Break was a while back, I've finally taken the time to sit down and put some pics up. Spent the week in Vegas...and the Grand Canyon. It was a lot of fun...and better yet it was HOT! I totally enjoyed being in heat again...winter was way too LONG this year! Believe it or not, there are things to do in Vegas besides gamble...something that I excel at...YES...SHOPPING!! Always a great time, as far as I'm concerned! And the walking...oh, the walking! But, by far, the best part of the week was the road trip out to the Grand Canyon!! WOW...the 5 hours in the car were fun, and the desert was SO beautiful! We stayed in a cute little B&B about an hour from the Canyon, and spent an afternoon and the next morning just staring at God's amazing creation!! A life-long dream of mine to see, I was absolutely blown away and would love to go back again! I took about a million pictures...but the feeling of awe sticks with you. It's the same amazement I get when I drive through the Rocky Mountains, and I always marvel at those who can't see their Creator in all that beauty!! Hilights of the trip ...the Fountain at the Bellagio, drinking a Vanilla Ice Blended at Coffee Bean 2x a day (oh, how I miss those!), the Strip all lit up at night, and THE BEST...THE CANYON!!

| Its been two long years now since the top of the world came crashing down.... No...I didn't have a meltdown two years ago...But I did go to see the Dixie Chicks in concert last night!!! They were awesome and we had a fab time. I love a good country concert and this was all I hoped for and more. They had a warm welcome in Calgary and we all partied to some good ol' country!

| Wow...it's been a month since I had anything interesting to say. Hmmmmm ...kinda speaks of my life! Busy with school, busy with marking, busy with holding down that couch for all the great new seasons of my fave shows. What can I say...blogging isn't high on my list at the moment! Not to say that I don't consistently check up on all my friends! So thanks Margaret for reminding me ever so gently that I should get another entry in here! Miss all of you... | | |
| I'm all about the US Open this week and just want to get out there my support for Roger Federer! It's been an awesome season of tennis and such fun to watch! Seeing the fab match between Agassi and Baghdatis was amazing...memorable! I always love watching Agassi on the court, and I will admit I shed a few tears like everyone else when he was thanking the crowd after his last match. Anyways, as I start a new year of school, I'll be rushing home to catch the latest match and hopefully watch The Fed capture another title. | | |
